Lawrence pulled Mia to her feet and gripped her hand so tightly it looked less like comfort than a dying man clinging to his last lifeline.
He forced himself upright, his failing body shaking with the effort. "Jack, get the car. Take Mia and me to the villa outside Moonspring territory."
