I'm not going to say it didn't hurt to hear Felipe say what he did to Alastair because it did. Not because I had wanted to hear the opposite but because it reminds me of a time when all I did was question my existence. It took me back to the days when I spent my days and nights in a dark corner thinking of ways to end all of me.
Since Felipe's arrival, the wolf in me wants to see where he stands and hearing him say what he did only served to put those lingering curiosities in their place. It doesn't change anything else. If he's staying here he needs to prove that he deserves to be part of the pack and if he's running around with the same arrogance of an alpha, we're going to have a problem. One I'm going to have to take care of myself.
