Chapter 34: Try Me
The boardroom was filled with business clients, including Stefan and Dorothy. Each person had a bottle of water, a pen, and a notepad, listening intently to the man standing at the front of the room.
"And with this idea of mine, I’m sure we can make this company a better place," the client concluded, and everyone in the room applauded.
"Thank you, Mr. Jay, for the excellent presentation. We will take some of your ideas into consideration," Kia said before opening the large book in front of him. "Next week, Mrs. Dorothy Everest, you will present to us." He said with a strictly professional tone.
Dorothy looked momentarily thrown off, but she forced a smile and nodded.
"That’s all. The meeting is dismissed," Kia announced, and the boardroom slowly emptied.
