Chapter 2:The plot
"Wait for me,"Victoria said.
The two girls were going to step out into the woods to hunt for some herbs.
"Please,be careful girls,"Lori said.
The concern she had for the safety of her girls.
"Don't go to another pack's territory.If you see any rogue come back immediately,"Lori said.
"Alright Mum,"Lily replied.
“No one is to be killed during the attack,”Theodore's deep voice echoed through the office room.
His Beta,Achilles and Omega Daryl paid close attention as Theodore gave them instructions on what to look out for when they visit the Crescent pack tomorrow.
Achilles looked down as he said,”Alpha am not in support of this plan. Regardless of the fact that people will be spared,the Alpha of the Crescent pack is welcoming and kind. We should not take over their territory much as you are my Alpha.”
“Enough with the opinions and sympathy Achilles,”Theodore said as his brown eyes stared coldly into Achilles’ eyes.
Theodore continued to explain to the both of them what was needed by them and Achilles looked hesitant and started to interrupt,Theodore grunted and Achilles kept quiet,lowering his gaze.
The Moon Pack was the strongest pack in the Northern territory and it was feared by the rest of the packs and respected.With the taking over of territories that was happening amongst packs,to show strength and independability,their were conflicts were erupting among the packs.
Theodore headed to the sparring groubds where training was happening.Isabella approached him briskly and covered his eyes playfully.
“Guess who it is?”she teased.
“Ofcourse its you,Bella.”Theodore answered.
Around other people Theodore was a cold Alpha but with his sibling he let out a happiness fraction no one received from him.
Slowly by slowly as people gathered,Theodore's smile faded and stepped on a platform to address his subordinates .
“Many of you have been selected to visit the Crescent pack tomorrow .By 9 am we shall set off for the pack,”Theodore announced.
The crowd howled loudly,cheers erupting as people dispersed.
Theodore looked at his people wondering uf it was all worth it.
“You are lost in thought darling”,said Bethany as she approached him.
Bethany was Thoedore's childhood sweetheart . Every member of the pack expected them to be mates but when they both came at the age of eighteen, no spark had formed.Theodore withdrew but Bethany continued to pursue him .
Theodore stared at Bethany and just grunted and turned to leave for his house.
"Alpha,"Achilles said.
He came running to Theodore.
"A rogue has been got outside of our territory.
He has been taken to the dungeons."Achilles said.
Rogues were wolves that didn't belong to any pack.They would cause danger to any person they would find.Rogues were better off dead but if helped they would come back to their senses.
"Come with me to the dungeon,"Theodore said.
"Who are you?Why are you in our territory?Theodore asked.
The rogue whimpered and seemed to be in pain as it laid down on the floor.
"Feed it and cloth it,"Theodore said.
“Run Theodore, run”a woman's voice echoed.
Sweat was evident on Theodore's face struggling and his claws clenched on the silk black sheets.
His face twisted in pain.
Theodore shot upright, shaking…the nightmares had never stopped. Four years larer they still haunted him.He remembered the attack on their territory by the Kai pack,the deaths of his parents and how he became an Alpha at seventeen.
“One day,”he vowed,”I will destroy the Kai Alpha who killed my parents.”
