After few minutes of waiting in cabin, a woman in her late 50s entered the room.
"Hi dear", she called tara in humble tone.
Tara was little surprised to hear someone greeting her like a normal person.
"Hello", she replied in normal tone.
"Sir told me about you. Let me show you your room", lady gestured Tara to follow her.
Getting upstairs, they walked to left at far end. Standing in front of a big door, lady opened the door.
"What is your name?", Tara asked the lady.
"Amanda. and your name?", she replied with a smile.
"Good name. My name is Tara", she too replied with a smile.
"Here is your room ms. Tara", she said opening the door wide. Tara was dumbstruck to see the room. She thought of a old, uncleaned small place. But this was fresh, clean and well decorated room. This was making her feel weird, like she was in a dream. To make sure, she pinched her arm.
'ow', she pinched little hard, but also bite her lip to stop the sound coming from her mouth.
"Hope you like it.",Amanda tried not to make her feel out of place.
"Why am I here and why is he letting me stary in this room?", she asked not particularly to Amanda, but she said loud enough to her heard by her. Amanda thought tara asked her.
"I am not sure ms.tara. I am just a care taker", she told her role in the house.
When amanda spoke, only tara realised that she had spoken out her thoughts loud, but atleast she got to know about Amanda.
"It's ok and please call me Tara. You are elderly person, it's not good to call you by name.", tara was feeling uncomfortable calling Amanda by name. As she is almost of her mother's age.
"Alright tara. You can call me anything you want", Amanda said. Her voice clearly showing she liked Tara's thoughts.
"What generally people living here call you?", she didn't want to sound too close to too distant with the lady, while she was behaving good with her.
"You can call me amy like others", that's how all call her in house, specially little bella.
Tara nodded at Amy's response.
"Call me if you need anything.", amy said walking towards the door.
"welcome to new home tara", amy said before closing the door.
