Chapter 19.
Shit. His mom. Wasn't it a little too early for the meet your parents stage? I listened carefully, I could hear some shuffling and then a groan.
"Mom!" Damien almost yelled, "She isn't here. I just dropped her home!"
"Don't lie to me," I heard his mom say. I could hear their footsteps coming closer. I did the only sane thing I could think of. I jumped from the bed and ran into the bathroom, locking it.
A few minutes, I could hear them enter the room. I held my breath, so that she couldn't smell me.
"See?" Damien said, "She isn't here. "
"When am I meeting her?" his mom asked.
"I'll bring her home when she's ready. We haven't even completed our mating yet."
"Fine." his mom grumbled. "Be sure to tell her that I want yo meet her. Sooner rather than later."
