Chapter 13.
"What are you doing here?" I asked. I didn't expect him to be here. He should be working.
"I was going to reward you but then you had to go and defy me, didn't you?" he spoke and I gasped. Reward? Punish?
Alpha Damien stood before me his lips stretched in one of his infamous smirks. He came here after he left Ty's place. Didn't he work? Did people have no problems that they had to discuss with the Alpha?
"Don't you have work?" I asked trying to keep my voice bored.
"I do. But I'm here for a more pressing matter."
"Oh?" I asked. "What would that be?"
"You." That word got my knees buckling and my heart beating erratically.
"You saw me two hours ago," I pointed out.
"And you refused to obey me two hours ago," he said and I glared at him.
"Look I have to go to work,"
