I was giddy the whole plane ride, anxious to see my husband again. Aunt Carol had me packed and ready to go in less than three days, but I decided to stick out the rest of the days and spend time with her.
The intercom came on and the captain spoke loud and clear. "Ladies and gentlemen, as we start our descent, please make sure your seat backs and tray tables are in their full upright position."
"Also make sure your seat belt is securely fastened and all carry-on luggage is stored underneath the seat in front of you or in the overhead bins. Thank you."
