A life well missed

A New Beginning

She decides she’s going back to her home state, Vermont. My mother moved in with her first child’s father, and decided this will be a temporary situation. She’s now six months pregnant with no money and no plan.

Her daughter is utterly out of control. Running out of the house at three o’clock in the morning, heated fights, and threats.

Things become more heated between my mothers ex and her daughter. He’s drinking a lot more than before. The daughter and her friend come over one night, things escalate, one wrong move and now he’s pointing a gun at her. Her own father.

Days later she comes back with the police, and he is arrested. My mom decides that she is much better off at her mothers, and moves there for the first six months of my life. One day her ex-husband comes to my grandmother’s, picks my mother up, and we leave. I’m now being adopted and they try to give me the normal family life.

That only lasts for a short period. Money, money, money.. that’s all the fight about. Pushing them farther and farther apart. Until we get to the point where they start to become physical.
