I squinted my eyes as the rays of light blinded me momentarily. I brought forth my arms to cover my eyes as I rolled off the bed. I find it weird to rise without Mon’s presence in my room. I have gotten used to him this past few weeks and I guess the pressing matters at hand makes him so busy that he can’t share his time with me.
I glanced at the wall clock and it announced that I am up early at 5 in the morning. I went straight to the bathroom to commence with my morning routine. As I stripped off my nightgown, I can feel the chill of the air creeps on my body. I turned the heater’s knob and waited for a few seconds for the warm water to pour down on me. It soothed my skin and I feel great after washing my body.
