Chapter 21 (Odd Alpha)

I opened my eyes as I felt someone shift on my side and by the tingles that is sent to my skin, I am most certain that this is my mate who snuggled close to me like a snake. I tried so hard to pry from his embrace but he snuggled closer and I can hear his soft snores. I smiled and I think he is so cute when he does this snoring thing even if I am not looking at him. I know his face will be like what I imagine – so relaxed, so serene. I really want to wake up next to him but I think it is better to stand up now and head to the gym for my morning workout. I tried to pry again and this time, I succeed from being away from his grasp. I slowly placed my pillow in his arms so that he can hug it and I raised the blanket to drape it around his shoulders.
