Chapter 57 (The Sacrifices)

A month have already passed after the day of war. Everything that was ruined were already been taken care of and now, everything is as good as new including the strengthening of walls and borders of different packs nearby. Life continued like it was before the war but my heart still has that hollow space left that was never been filled. I ran around the field a few times and went to the valley where I and Raymond use to visit before. I let Sera free and she ran around the forest. She was running to free her heart out. We watched the yellow light of the sun as it hit our vision. The silence of the place was comforting but the chaos inside my head still did not lessen even a bit.
I went back to the pack house to prepare for everything that I need to do
