Chapter Eight: MateWhen Ethan first lay eyes on the young Rabbit Shifter, there is fire lapping at her heels and fear written in her gorgeous eyes, blue and wide and so very terrified. She only glances his way for a second before looking away, but that second is enough to capture him completely, captivate all of his being and draw him to her. He thinks he would do anything for her, if only she asked him to, and that sort of reckless abandon of practical thinking is so unlike him that his first instinct is to rebel against it.
