Chapter Thirteen: HealingHer recovery is frustrating because she feels like once she's wake, she's ready to jump headfirst into her new job and show her best, but the doctor insists on putting her on bedrest for at least a month.
She's done nothing but laid in bed and sleep the hours away for what feels like an eternity in the hospital.
On the first few days, there's always a man with her, either Ethan or Will to keep her company, but she insists on them going about their daily lives and not sticking around to fuss. Ethan has other responsibilities and disappear after a short visit every morning, but returns the moment he's able. He always brings little gifts, trinkets, like he's trying to woo her, but isn't quite familiar with the 'how'. It's really very endearing.
