Cavern
Samra was waiting just past the entrance when he caught up with her. Throwing the two lengths of rope over his head and across his chest, he handed her one of the two flashlights he’d also confiscated and proceeded down the trail.
“I’m hoping this leads directly to the area where Brixton hauled me in. I was somewhat out of it.” He glanced back at her. “Have you been this way before?”
“No. Brixton never showed me any of this area. Just the main building. But I did take the main tour once, a year or so after he came to work here.” She pointed ahead of them. “We came
in via a different opening, closer to the front, where the parking lot and main building are located.”
“Where the sign is?”
“Yeah. It’s right behind it. That big cave-like opening.”
