“You marked me?” I asked. Was it my purring? Did I send her over the edge? She was frantic when telling me not to give up. Shock was flowing through my body and I was just so confused. I wanted to feel anger because now I couldn’t accept the rejection.. even though I didn’t want to.
“I-I’m so sorry.” She cried out. She fell to the ground and sobbed. Only when I got down there did I realize Imogen had given Iza back control.
“Iza?” My voice was shaky as I asked.
“She..” Iza sobbed even harder than before.
