“I can’t believe you did that.” My wolf Imogen growled.
“You know I don’t want a mate. Not after..” I began but she cut me off.
“They said he’s different.. that he’s good. We should just give him a chance.” Imogen argued.
“No. You know as well as I do that the pain of rejection was horrible. We were not okay!
