Chapter 38: Protect
Matt's POV I was in shock how many rogues were coming up the stairs. I don't think there's ever been a break in the pack house until now. Every time Eddie and I would kill one, more would appear. Luckily us coming from Alpha and Beta blood we were holding our own. They kept trying to break past us and toward the door where the girls were. In my gut I knew who they were after and so did Eddie. A few got past us and there wasn't anything I could do. They surrounded me purposely. I wasn't the offical Alpha yet. I didn't have the full strength like my father. But what i did have was my anger and picturing them hurting Charlie set off a strength I didn't know I had. I ripped out the throats of three rogues in a matter of minutes.
