Chapter 25: Not home

2039 Words

Charlie's POV I felt myself start to wake from the deepest, most peaceful sleep I've had in a while. I felt safe, warm, and like everything was right in my life. I tried to stretch out only to realize I couldn't actually move. I was being held in place. At first, it brought me a wave of panic, but it was suddenly replaced by memories of last night. I went to Matt. I turned to him for comfort, and he was there for me more than I ever thought possible. The panic came right back around when I saw the sun barely starting to peak through his curtains. It was morning, and i was still at the fricken pack house in his fricken bedroom. My mother was going to kill me, and there was a very good chance that my brothers and dad would murder him. I turned my body as best i could to see the clock.
