Charlie's POV What in the goddess is happening right now? I felt like someone needed to pinch me to bring me back to reality because this certainly cannot be my life. A week ago the man in front of me would have been acting like I didn't exist, now he's standing in front of me saying he wants me even if I'm not his fated mate. Life sure is throwing me a couple curve balls right now. He held my face in his hands so delicately that I fully believed every word he was saying. I could see the sincerity in his eyes.
