She found a stream where she could both bathe and wash her clothes and led Jasper to it when she was done with it herself.

He was grateful she had offered, grateful she had thought about it, but he wasn’t willing to put he to work that way. not now, not ever.
He placed the clothes where he placed hers, beneath arock and walked back to where they both camped. Night was falling and soon they would need to lit a fire, but in that moment he found her watching a sunset and sat beside her.
