Have to lose to gain

Its been years now im 15, dad is his usual self honestly i dont know how i could have lived without uncle jay. Im so thankful hes been here every step of my life amd help raised me. I get home from school dads home early thats great, I go straight to my room lock my door and put on my head phones. I know it wont be too much longer before uncle jay gets here, bang bang jack says Aleina open this door now! I turn my music up louder hopefully hell get tuckered out and eventually stop. Jack yells "Aleina!! open up" bang!bang! Slowly starts to walk off. Thank God hes gone just 20 mins and uncle jays home its 10:10 he gets here every night at 10:30. Its 10:40 where is he! I walk over to my window and look to see if i see head lights but nothing its pitch black. I hear foot steps oh shit... jack "oooh aleina i know ur not sleeping open up" bang!bang! Hes literally beating my door down what am i supposed to do i have no way to a phone or to my aunts house all i have is my mp3 player. Bang bang jack "open up you little b***h ur uncles not here to save u now hahah"! I hear police sirens coming thank God someone called but my door knob is coming loose hes almost through the door!! Jack "u better be ready", the door break and he rushes in i tried to hide but he pulled me out of my closet he grabbed me by the hair and dragged me down stairs. Im looking at the clock its 10:50 i feel my face being punched but im losing consciousness and all the sudden uncle jay rushes in he tackles dad... im crawling to the door and jays beating up my dad but all hes doin is laughing.. jack grabs a gun and jay backs up hes standing in front of me, im on the floor I grab his ankles trying to hide behide him. Jack points the gun at both of us jay says "look im the one who hit u if u shoot anyone shoot me"! Jack laughs and starts following jay. Jay slowly steps away i cant hold his ankles anymore, jay says quietly "the cops will be here in just a few minutes try to get outside okay". Im crawling on my knees making my way to the door, I finally make it outside and i see the neighbors standing around the house and the cops are rushing through the door one cop grabs me and helps me up. All the sudden i hear a gun shot and i turn fast pushing off the cop who had me, i begin to hear more im pushing through officers but noone is letting me through. I see a small space my uncle is crouched over my dad im screaming for incle jay but hes unresponsive.. UNCLE JAY i yell again he suddenly looks at me and yells leave ger alone! He runs torwards me and i get through the cops i finally embrace in his arms! Uncle jay what happened!! Hes sobbing on my back my shirt is soaked. Uncle jay! What happened, he pulls me out of his arms and looks at me honey im sorry I never wanted it to happen this way.. I widen my eyes in disbelief.. jay says ur father had the gun and went to throw it when the cops rushed in as they did he got scared and pulled the trigger when he threw it it shot the wall but they were frightened by the gun firing and they shot him.. the look on his face he didnt mean to i know he was terrified because he knew what was gonna happen.. I begin to sob and shake my head in disbelief that i have no parents now at least i had one even if he wasnt a great one.. my uncle held me and we cried on each other. The ambulance came and took care of me and we went to my aunt Amy's house afterwards.
