Chapter thirteen- Imaginations

1056 Words
LIAM I've been through so much in life but nothing hurts as much as hearing Rissa confess her love to me, I thought a love confession was meant to make someone feel happy and fulfilled, why did my case have to be different? I laid quietly on my bed staring at the celling, it's been two weeks since Rissa made her confession and I swear I haven't been okay, I haven't been able to concentrate on anything, mom and dad noticed that I was falling into depression, but I refused to tell them the anything whenever they asked, I didn't want them to worry about me. I need to find a way to get Larissa back, I feel so disoriented recently and for the sake of the pack I couldn't fall into complete depression, I had to convince her to give me a proper chance to prove myself. I was deep in thought when Nathan casually walked into my room like he owns my room or something, he gradually walked into the room and sat down besides me "Are you still thinking about Larissa?" He asked waiting for a reply, when he didn't get any he continued " Dude it's been two weeks, you really have to move on, you'll find your mate very soon, you should cheer up" Nathan was the only one I could open up to, I had to talk to someone, if I didn't pretty sure my head would have exploded "if you don't have any other thing to say please get the f**k out..... I'm sad enough as it is don't make it worse by saying bullshit" " this isn't bullshit Liam, Larissa has every right to do what she did, how the f**k do you think you'll give up your mate, bro there's something called mate pull Incase you forgot, Larissa's fears are valid and you should let it go and also let her go" "Are you done?" I asked him and he just shrugged " Hope you didn't say anything to mom and dad anything" " No I didn't, but they're really worried about you" he waited briefly for a reply and when I didn't give him a reply he gave me a pat on the shoulder and left my room. I've never been this way before, I swear nothing feels right, nothing at all makes any sense. LARISSA it's been two weeks since I pushed Liam away, two weeks since I broke his heart, two weeks since I also broke mine, two weeks of utter despair, things hasn't been easy to say the least, everyday I wake to the painful realization that I pushed him away, I wonder what he is up to now, how is he taking this, from what I heard he hadn't been in school for two weeks, so I'll guess he isn't taking it too well, I feel guilty for doing that to him, but I couldn't risk living without a mate like my mom, I sometimes see her crying and no matter how hard she tries to hide her tears I'll always see them, I wish I could make her pain go away, I didn't also like that I was feeling helpless so I did not want my child grow up and feel this same way, I want a healthy family and I'm not sure sure Liam could offer that to me, I also didn't want a short term relationship with any man, reasons why I am waiting for my mate. I hadn't been in school for two weeks, pretty sure the absence of me and Liam has caused a lot of rumors to fly around. I slowly made my way into the school building, and once I got to the hallway all eyes were on me, it made me really uncomfortable but I was too sad to give it much thoughts, I saw some students talking within themselves while throwing glances at me, it was so obvious I was the subject of their discussion, well I need to get used to this, after all everyone knows that I have the eyes of the future Alpha. I had two classes this morning and one in the afternoon, I managed to sit through all the classes but most of the time my mind drifted off, I let my imagination run wild, I liked to imagine how things who have been if Liam was really my mate, but I guess we'll never know, as usual Liam wasn't in school today but something inside of me keeps hoping that I'll see him walk through the classroom door and take me away from here maybe to a place where mates didn't matter and we could fall in love freely, but like I said I let my imaginations run wild, maybe one, two many times, hopefully the hard part will pass and I can go back to being a normal girl waiting for her mate to come sweep her off her feet, but I hope he doesn't take too long, this makes me wonder how I'd react when I finally meet him, will I be happy when I met him or wished he never came so I could continue this wild imaginations in my head. Thoughts if Liam flooded my head for the rest of the day like it has everyday for two weeks, I am visibly sad and mom continues assuring me that I have made the right decisions, but I'm not so sure, I know she's only looking out for me and what if things actually goes well with me and Liam, what if he makes me happy and fulfilled, and then the biggest what if, what if he rejects his mate. But I couldn't live my life based of what ifs, that's a stupid thing to do, but isn't love stupid? so many questions in my head, different emotions all at once nothing seems right and I'm not sure any thing will seem right till I talk to Liam, I'm not sure he would want to talk to me but I had to at least try, I just need to know how he's doing, I'm worried I may have really hurt him, maybe we could just talk to make peace and probably becomes friends at least that way he wouldn't be completely out of my life.
