NATALIE My legs wobbled slightly as I stepped out of my office, the door clicking shut behind me like it knew what had just happened inside. Like it had witnessed it. Every moan, every gasp, every filthy word Edwin growled against my skin....it echoed in that silence. My body screamed in the aftermath, aching in places I hadn’t felt in years. Muscles trembling, nerves raw, thighs sticky with him. With us. I tried to walk like nothing was wrong, like I was still that polished, unbothered boss. But each step was a painful reminder. I was wrecked. Humiliated in the most delicious, twisted, toe-curling way. Sore. So damn sore. I passed my assistant, who looked up from her desk with an arched brow. And I knew that look. That curious, trying-not-to-smile-but-dying-to-ask kind of look.
