Chapter 6

Bianca’s POV

I hate that mutt! If that mutt did not capture Daniel and Anna, I and the Coven would not be in this position. We were already hated because I have practiced dark magic before and was referred to as the black witch. I only did it at the time so I could save my beloved many years ago. Another witch had eyes on my beloved. She was a witch who would do anything just to get her hands on my beloved. She had tried to kill me by slowly poisoning me using dark magic. Then she tried to brain wash my beloved into sleeping with her so she could have his babies, binding him to her. When I eventually found out that she was slowly poisoning me, I confronted her with my beloved. That was when she unexpectedly stabbed me that was laced with poison, I was slowly dying, and I ended up using dark magic and killing her. Dark magic was a taboo among our kind, but because I did it to save myself and my beloved, it was never held against me.

Many years passed after that incident and soon Daniel and I had a child, Anna. She would grow up to become a powerful witch, I could feel it. It was any other normal day, Anna and Daniel would go out and do their usual father and daughter bonding time. We made sure that we kept majority of her powers hidden so no one would come after her. That was when James the mutt and his rogues decided to attack them and take them hostage. I had waited for hours for both Daniel and Anna to come home but they never did. I received a strange note, which I thought was strange, our coven, the Shadow coven was well hidden, we could hardly be found unless we wanted to be found. The note said that I was meet someone by myself at midnight in one of the deserts. I was not to bring anyone with me and if I did, there would be consequences. If I wanted to see my beloved and daughter again, I would be wise to only bring myself alone.

I did think who would dare capture witches as we are not weak, especially together, alone, we would still be strong but not as formidable when we are together. I turned up as the note requested and all I could see was this tall and lanky guy, he had this rogue smell about him, but he had a few long and deep scars on his face. “What do you want mutt?” I said to the unknown person. “Tsk tsk, is this how you speak to people who are holding your beloved and your daughter hostage?” the Unknown person responded. “I am Alpha James, and yes we captured your beloved and your daughter, as we need something from you.” James said. “And if I refuse and I can save my beloved and my daughter?” I responded. “Oh, I don’t think you would be doing that at all, you see, this was the reason why I also got you to come alone, we rigged your coven with some explosives that even your witches would have a hard time trying to defend themselves, so unsuspecting. You thought your coven would be safe because you thought you were hidden, well hate to break it to you, you were not well hidden enough.” James said. “You arrogant b*******d!!!” I screamed at him. “It is your choice, help me with what I need, later I will give you back your beloved and your daughter. Cross me, everyone dies including your coven.” James said. On that note, I noticed I was surrounded by at least 100 rogues, I did not even notice them, they had mask their scent. I could maybe take them out, but I have no idea where this mutt is holding my beloved and daughter and I did not want my coven to be in danger, I thought to myself.

When James told me he wanted me to create something that would just knock out a wolf unconscious, I just whipped up a simple spell using a towel. I did not ask questions, I just wanted to get my beloved and my daughter back and ensure my coven was not harmed. All this time, I tried scrying for my beloved and my daughter but was never successful. I kept wondering where he hid them. Every time a request was made, he would send either one of his henchmen to come pick up his requests. He would never make an appearance.

Initially, I thought it was weird that he wanted to make a wolf unconscious, I mean, everyone knows that wolfsbane would probably do the job, but he seemed paranoid. So, I made what he wanted. Over the years, he wanted me to find information on a prophecy and wanted to see if I could get rid of mating mark just in case. I was flabbergasted when he requested this. There were rumours that those who tried to get rid of a mating mark, cause extreme pain on the person who have the mating mark and that they would die from the pain. I mean that stupid witch tried to steal my beloved using a potion, but it was only temporary solution and at the time we had not mated yet because he wanted to court me and take it slow. I would need to research this before James thinks it can be done.

I have spent my time researching based on the books we had at the coven. It was not easy at all. I could not find anything. James would be sorely disappointed at this. I picked up my phone and gave the number a call. “Hello, Alpha James speaking.” He spoke. “Hello Alpha James, it is Bianca calling. I tried searching for what you asked me to, but I cannot find anything. There is nothing or any proof that it has worked. All those who tried it, the other person died from the extreme pain inflicted on them. Are you sure this is what you want?” I asked him. “Well, keep searching, but I something else, I need you to find something that can force a wolf to appear. The girl was supposed to have a wolf at the age of 16, but she has no wolf. I am sure she has a wolf, but I need her wolf to appear for the prophecy.” He responded to me. “I will look at what I can do, is she healthy?” I asked. “What a stupid question!” He scoffed. “Of course not! We have fed her wolfsbane in the past, she has been regularly tortured and beaten, so we could get her to submit more easily! Get me what I need, don’t forget I still have your beloved and your dear daughter! I must say she is quite a looker!” Before I could respond to that, he had already hung up on me. Darn that mutt! He had better not touch my daughter Anna, or I will rain wrath on him like no other.

I need to get ahead of his plan. Now I know that what he is up to and the damn prophecy that he believes in. I need to do more research about the prophecy. It was prophesised by a seer in our coven many many years ago. I wonder if we still have it somewhere. So, I decided to call my coven together. “Coven, I have asked us to come together today because as you know, since my beloved and my daughter, to the heir to this coven has been captured by that mutt. Unfortunately, I still must work for him still if I want to keep you all safe and my family safe. I will not risk all your lives as we are one big family. However, it seems this mutt is adamant about this prophecy, and he believes, the girl that he has in captivity is the girl from the prophecy. Now, we must locate the prophecy that our seer had once prophesied, we need to find more information regarding it.” I said looking at my coven. I could hear my coven murmuring, shocked that there could be the chosen one. “We will help you!” Everyone responded back. “Thank you for helping! We will need to keep this a secret from those mutts. I do not know how much they know, and I do not want our coven to be in danger. Make sure you do not get caught and make sure your safe!” I responded back.

On that note, my coven dispersed to do as I have asked. I smirked and thought, this mutt will never know what hits him. I will do whatever to defend my coven, my family legacy. Once my family is safe, we will come down on him in full force.
