2. The Arrival
As the ship approaches the island and its destination, Alexander’s heart started skipping beats ‘as if he was about to return to his homeland’ that he had not seen for a very long time and was longing to see.
What he feels in him is a unique excitement, a beautiful and unprecedented feeling of enthusiasm that defied logic. It was in fact a call, an almost supernatural intervention that made him feel intoxicatingly beautiful.
