A new day dawned that from the very beginning showed that it would be special. It was one of the great feasts of Christian Orthodoxy because the Dormition of the Mother of God was being celebrated. The sun had already made its magnificent appearance early on, lighting up the whole horizon with its life-giving rays.
That day found Alexander sleeping on the beach. As he feels the sun rays penetrating his body, the wakes up alerted.
‘No, she just can’t have fooled me again’.
…he thinks to himself as he wanders what has happened. Unnerved, he picks up his things and returns to the hotel.
