Lee's POV

So I got the team some tickets to go see England play against France in Twickenham. The plan is to go see them play and get some advice from the professional players which is so exciting. I know that the team and I need to do this as it will boost our confidence especially Laurie's it's like watching a different player on the field she looks lost and confused.

Watching my team get hurt by the head coach is horrible but Laurie and the other werewolves on our team take the brunt of it for us humans. He thinks he motivates us by taking it out on us but that is so not true. It does the opposite of what he wants.

I remember when she told me what she is. A werewolf. The other members figured it out after a while.

Laurie's POV

Yesterday

Today Brian showed his true colours towards the team so I took Lee's place on the floor kneeling in front of this monster.

Being a werewolf I heal faster, I move faster, see better, hear better and I have a stronger sense of smell and taste and not forgetting the most important thing I can transform into a wolf .

I feel mortified that I hired a freaking brute of a man for a head coach. It's all my fault that my team get hurt. No I will not allow them to suffer because of me. ... no they won't suffer. They can’t.

Brian grabbed his belt and kept bringing it down onto my back about 20 times. Then walking inside the training building he went to the kitchen and grabbed a rolling pin and hit me around the head repeatedly. I can hear my team muttering about how I won't last and to be truthful there were black spots clouding my vision.

As Brian raised the rolling pin up one more time but stopped when the phone rang. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Lee standing near the tri line with his phone in his hand and a smile on his face. He had recorded the whole thing and sent it to the police.

Walking over to Lee “I need to talk to you it's important and something you need to promise you won't tell anyone. .... I'm a werewolf.... “

Lee's POV

Omg she's a werewolf. I need to get away from it, away from her but I'm frozen to the spot I'm standing in. I can't move.

Her face turned sad and worried. "You are afraid and scared of me aren't you. Please don't be, I won't do anything to you or the others. Please Lee I just needed to tell someone I can't keep hiding this from people. I feel lost". I just stared horrified at her "Lee say something. Please say something."

“You won't hurt anyone or eat us"at that comment she giggled ‘no of course I won't your all my friends and two are my fellow pack members"

It's because they heal faster than us and Laurie pays to hire him as our head coach.

Brian " you're a useless team but you pay me enough for me to stay" with that Brian walked away leaving a bleeding Laurie on the floor breathing heavily with her eyes red with rage and pain. she keeps trying to calm herself down slowly but surely her eyes return to blue.

With that in mind practice wasn't as long today because of all the drama but also because we are running out of time to train tonight.

Everybody go get changed and grab your kit and meet me at the bus in half an hour.

We where all on the bus when I hear Kirsty ask "where are we going? Can we stop for food we are all starving" we are gonna miss the England game Lee. We have plans to see it."

I frowned "guys don't worry you won't miss it. Laurie you okay?" Yeah I'm good Lee, don't worry I'll heal". Laurie winced as I helped her of the bus.

Laurie's POV

I winced as Lee helped me me off the bus not out of pain but because I'm healing. Once I'm off the bus I look around and realise where we are. "Omg we are in Twickenham, Lee how and why are we here?" Lee- "Chris Robshaw sent them to your dad as a thank you to you both for your help and your dad sent them to us. "

With that we walked in and watched the game. Omg omg I get to see England live and get to see him ( hopefully he forgot about the accident I didn't mean to I just lost control) ... Trying not to look like a complete i***t I calmed down and cheered on England. When all of a sudden George Ford was knocked out by Kaka the French number 7 thankfully this was during half time.

I over heard Eddie the England teams manger was talking to Andy Farrell and the other coaches about not having anyone to replace George with. That's when I noticed Chris calmly smiling and waving at me. He walked over to Eddie “I know who can play as George's replacement, Laurie can she's brilliant she usually kicks for her team but can plan anywhere on the field". Snapping out of my thoughts I slapped Chris's arm and said “I'm sure they don't want me, Lee is just as good plus he's a boy and I'm a girl" Eddie cut me off mid sentence and said “girl kit up your on, someone find her a shirt"

That's when he moved from behind Jonny while I was gawking and blushing tomato red and said to me in his husky accented voice " I'll get you a shirt and give you a hand as I bet your nervous" with that I followed him to the changing rooms.

Unknown POV

I watch the girl turn red and realise that I want to be the one to help her. I'm not sure why but I don't want anyone else close to her. I strangely feel very protective of her... I just want to grab her and pull her behind me even though there's no danger.

What's going on with me !!!

I spoke to the girl our manager want to play with us I recognise her from strictly come dancing.

She was a professional dancer yeah that right she danced with George. But helped me when I had an accident with a wolf..well I think it was a wolf, but it could of been a dog come to think of it.

There's something about her that has awoken something inside me but I don't know what. I do know that if I don't stop staring I'll make her uncomfortable with that I stopped and asked her a bit about herself.

" so you play rugby which team? The vickings I'm there number 10.” What's your name and are you seeing anyone? I'm Laurie, no I'm not seeing anyone and before you ask I'm going to be 18 in about 4 hours. When she said that I felt ever so excited and I don't know why.

Urm anyway Laurie (aww man even her name sends me crazy I think I'll speak to dad before I go onto the field)

This is about three years ago

Chris's pov

Listen Marla We don't need to see a phycotherapist we can work things out. She looked so sad lost and confused I feel awful that I can't tell her what I am well I can tell her because she's my mate but I don't want her to know because then we will have to mate and I will have to mark her and I can't and won't rush her into that.

I heard her pick the phone up and her start speaking. " hi there is this Justin Middleton? I am ringing to book an appointment for me and my partner Chris robshaw we need your help. .... yes of course we can come tonight at 7pm.... your oldest daughter will be home no that's fine I'm sure she won't mind. Yes see you ten bye.

2 hours later

We are sitting in the car at the therapists home debating on whether to get out. When I notice a girl playing outside and she smells like me. She’s a werewolf.

"Chris come on we have to go I feel as if your shutting me out and never listening to me. You see I'm in a room but you walk out as soon as you finish a drink. Please you have to do this for me".

I nod to her as it hurts me that I'm causing her to be this upset so I get out of the car but stop at the ball the girl just kicked and it was a rugby ball. "Marla baby you go in first I'll be in in a minute let me just grab something from the car"

I grab a signed shirt for the girl and some of Maria's make up from her modelling.

With that I walked towards the girl and coughed immediately she looks up and pulls her lips back and snarls a warning. Instantly I apologise and present her with the items and asked her for some advice on my situation.

" thank you for the shirt and makeup. My names Laurie I think you should tell her what you are then go out for a while to allow her to think about what her decision will be. I can't wait till I find my mate."

I told my mate Marla what I am. She sat there and listened to me then when I was finished speaking she just smiled and said I choose life with you.

Since then her and I have been great friends well more like family. She helps me I help her. Like when she accidentally attacked someone well bit them. I can't help but think that the person will be her mate but I could be wrong usually am wrong.
