Jason’s POV
Of the three women we need to convince to have a meeting with us, Fiona would be by far the easiest and most pleasant for me to reach out to. But any one of us can reach out to her, and she’ll come running; it’s Kate who specifically needs to hear from me.
Not that she’ll want to see me. It’s more that she’ll refuse to come down at all until I’ve apologized.
So Trent offers to call Fiona, Brooke calls Alex, and I head upstairs to talk to Kate.
Trent’s place is ridiculously large and winding, but I manage to find Kate’s room after a few tries. She grumbles something inaudible when I knock, which I decide to interpret as “come in.”
