Cliff’s POV
I’m twenty-two years old—actually; not as a disguise—and an attractive enough guy. I also happen to be the son of a millionaire. I’m used to girls going for me. Usually I just shrug them off, knowing that they’re after my money or my dad’s influence. Still, I had a few girlfriends in college.
None of them were anything like Kate.
She doesn’t make any sense to me. She doesn’t wear any makeup, doesn’t put any effort into how she looks, and yet she’s the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen. Her GPA at Tucker was only a 3.0, but she’s one of the smartest people I’ve ever talked to. She’s quiet and meek around most people, but around me, she can’t shut up. She was stalked and attacked by a psychopath who fell in love with her, and yet she’s strong.
