Standing up I followed King who just walked out of the room without saying a word to me. He didn't stop till we were in the living room. "So that's what you need me to do. Watch your little sister. How did you even know I would be good with kids." I asked crossing my arms over my chest. "Because your you." He said picking up a bag from off the couch. "What is that supposed to mean?" I questioned with a slight attitude not understanding what he was saying. Huffing and puffing he said. "Take this personally or don't I don't care. But your kind, gullible, and gentle and it's irritating. Point A: You came here even when you thought I was going to make you do something illegal. I mean come on you even prepared. " He rolled his eyes at what I was wearing. "So, what now its a bad to be kind?" I said glaring at him. "That's not what I said. But being too kind gets you nowhere in life." He said and I while I was trying to think of a smart comeback Samantha came running out the room. "Hope! Come on I already set up our tea party! Coco and Mia are already waiting and they don't like waiting." She said grabbing my hand not giving her brother even a glance she just dragged me back into her room. I looked back and King was gone. shrugging I laughed at her eagerness. But I couldn't stop thinking about what King had said. Was he right? I mean I know I'm kind that what I love about myself and not a lot of people now and days aren't. I don't think I'm too kind, I think I'm the right amount of kind. Yeah, fridge what he think! "Hope!" Samantha said shaking me back to reality. "Yes, beautiful." I said making her blush. I smiled widely at her. "I'm not that pretty. But you, your beautiful!" She said factually. "Who says your not pretty? You know what, I've seen a lot of little girls in my time and you know what I think? That your the most beautiful girl I've ever seen" I said taking her in my arms and sitting us on her bed. "You really think so?" She said looking up at me with teary eyes. "Yes I really do. I promise I do." I said wiping a runaway tear from her check. "But the girls in my class don't think so, they call me mean names." As she said this my heart broke for her. "Well, then they are jealous and jealousy makes people do mean things. Don't you listen to a word they say because you are so beautiful, so very beautiful." I said moving her dark brown hair from her face and giving her a hug. I think she felt better because seconds later she pulled away from me, rubbed her eyes, and dragged me to her already set up tea party with her big brown bear and sassy looking dolls. I chuckled at how well mannered they looked. "Hope this is Bear-Bear!" she said excitingly pointing to her bear, pointing to the red haired well mannered doll she said that she was Ariel, next to Ariel was Jazzy who had brown hair, lastly next to me was Lucy how had blonde on one side of her head and brown hair on the other. Samantha silently poured us all imaginary tea into all of our cups and I pretended to drink the tea. Samantha also took a sip before speaking. "So, hope... What are you're intentions with my brother?" I was so shocked with her question it took me a couple of minutes to answer. "What do you mean?" I asked confused. "Well, for one you're the first girl my brother has brought home other than Jasmine because she normally babysits me when he needs to go out. And he wouldn't just bring home any random girl to watch me." She said taking another sip of her fake tea. "Well, Samantha your brother and I just friends if not less than that." I said with a chuckle. She is a smart little six year old. "Mhh" She says then a smile creeps on her smile which kind of creeps me out. She get up from the floor and tells me to follow her. I followed her into the living room. I was talking to King earlier and didn't really get a chance to look at it. Now that I do I didn't want to stop. it was beautiful. The walls were a plain white, but the couches were a black and red pattern. The actual couch was black but the seats and pillows were red. two of the couches, two of the couches were connected and on either side was a black lap post. The lamp had a red top to match the design. It was beautiful. There was flat screen tv on the left wall in front of the couches. The design and everything looked amazing. Taking my eyes off the design I looked for Samantha. She was next to what looked like a Bluetooth holding a iPhone. My eyes went wide. I didn't get a phone till I was in high school and I had to buy it myself! My thoughts were cut off when I heard The Lion King. My eyes went wide and started singing along with Samantha and Simba. I'm Gonna be a mighty king! So enemies beware! Well, I've never seen a king of beast with so little hair! I'm going to be the main even like no king was before!! I'm pushing up, I'm looking down, I'm working on my ROAR! Thus far, a rather uninspiring thing. Oh, I just can't wait to be king You've rather a long way to go, young master, if you think- I sang and danced along with the lyrics stopping only for a second to pick up Samantha so I was dancing with her in my arms. it was hard to sing along with the song because we were laughing so hard. I haven't had this much fun in a long time. It felt nice to let to act like a child again. But I tried to contain my laughing as the next verse came on. No one saying, "do this" Now when I said that, I No one saying, "be there" What I meant was No one saying, "stop that" Look, what you don't realize No one saying, "see here" Now see here! I placed Samantha down and we started spinning in circles as we sang along with Simba, Zazu and Nala. "Oh, I just can't wait to be king!" We sang in union very loudly might I add. Everybody look left Everybody look right Everywhere you look I'm Stand-in' in the spotlight Not yet! Let every creature go for broke and sing Let's hear it in the herd and on the wing It's gonna be King Simba's finest fling, Oh I just can't wait to be king Oh, I just can't wait to be king "Oh, I just can't wait to be king" We screamed throwing ourselves onto the ground out of breath from all the screaming and dancing. "Well, isn't that a sight for sore eyes." King said making me jump up and my heart race. "JoJo!" Samantha said jumping off the floor and running into her brothers arms. "I missed you." She said again giving him a bigger hug. It was adorable. "I missed you two pumpkin." He said hugging her back. "Well, I must be going it's late." I said Picking up my bag that I placed on the counter earlier. And I wasn't just saying this it was actually 2:30 in the morning and now that I think about it I feel bad about all the yelling Samantha and I just did. Samantha jumped out of Kings arms and rushed over to me grabbing both of my legs begging me not to leave. "it's ok baby. I'll see you soon. I promise." I said even though I knew I couldn't keep my promise unless King allowed me too. "You promise?" She said looking at me with teary eyes. "I promise!" I said giving her a hug and getting up ready to walk out the door when Samantha started jumping up and down screaming "Ooo, I know, I know!" "What?" King asked confused. "JoJo can she come on the boat with us tomorrow?" She asked giving both king and I her doggy face. "I don't know sweetheart I bet hopes busy." King said most likely trying to get out of this situation. And he wasn't wrong Jordan is coming home tomorrow. "He's right my brother is coming home tomorrow." I said with sadness in my voice. "Pleases" she begged tears flowing down her face now. It broke my heart. I was starting to cave and I couldn't because I haven't seen Jordan in two months. "Fine. But not for long and only if it's with your brother." I said looking at King. He nodded his head and walked away. He couldn't say no to his little sister.
