Despite her exhaustion and the fact that her body currently felt like mush, Lucy couldn’t sleep. Carter, for his part, was snoring softly next to her. He’d fallen asleep within minutes after the second time they’d had s*x, but not before he’d thrown an arm over her and pulled her close.
Lucy sighed softly. It was still dark out, but it had to be close to dawn. Squinting at the alarm clock, she realized that she had three hours before she had to get ready for filming.
