Chapter 4
APD Officer, Detective Sergeant Alex Ortega watched as his brother, New Mexico State Police Detective Lieutenant Philip Ortega, approached the crime scene. He wondered at his brother's appearance, but knew that, sometimes, someone from the State Police would show up, just to make sure the crime didn't require the help of the NMSP. But this time... Alex couldn't shake the feeling that this crime was going to be a whole lot bigger than any one police department.
He smiled at his brother when Philip approached him. "Don't have enough on your plate, you gotta come see about this one?"
