Unconventional Love

Chapter 10

We sat down on the couch in silence because no one really knew how to start the conversation, but we did know that we needed to talk about it.

‎ I was the first to break the silence saying "If you regret it don't worry I won't let anyone find out about what happened between us ." Then a dry Chuckle escaped from his lips And then he spoke "You don't want to take responsibility Princess" I tried to defend myself saying "It's not that I don't wanna take responsibility I'm just worried that you might regret it" he replied "I don't regret it, but the real question is do you regret it?" I quickly rushed to deny regretting it

‎ Then he said something that I never could have imagined, he said that he would like to date me truly I was overjoyed but I suddenly thought of my parents and how they would feel if the person that they adopted and didn't abandon even though they found their real daughter suddenly started dating their son.

‎ I didn't want to tell them, but most importantly I didn't want to lose them as my family, so I quickly gave Leo a sloppy excuse and I practically ran out of his house for my dear life.

‎ The next few weeks were basically held because I've been trying my best to avoid Leo Although he came to campus a lot to see me. I couldn't deny that my feelings for Leo were overpowering but I loved my family More than anything And I couldn't give them up just because of a crush.

‎ After a few days, Mom called me back home because she missed me and wanted to have dinner together. On my way home I thought of every possible reason my mom actually called me back I couldn't help but think that Leo told her about what happened between us the other night.

‎ My heart was Beating Through my chest when I walked through the doors of the villa And just like my worst fears predicted I saw mom, dad, Leo, and Emily Gathered in the living room, supposedly having a serious discussion.

‎ My parents quickly ushered me to sit Before I sat down like we said everyone including Leo but while I sat down I could feel his piercing gaze on my face but I avoided eye contact as much as possible Turns out, they were talking about Mom and Dad going on vacation to France.

‎ So they were talking about Leo and me coming to stay with Emily to keep her company while they were on vacation for three months. Though the journey from college to The Villa was just a few minutes long I still preferred to stay at the dorms because I wanted to avoid Leo as much as possible, but my parents' tone left no room for arguments because it wasn't a plea it was a command, and I haven't seen them so serious in a long time.

‎ They had the driver move my belongings from the dorm back to the Villa temporarily, and I had to bid my roommates goodbye after barely just reuniting with them.

‎ Leo's room was right next to mine And in the middle of the night He opened my door Locked it, and sat down beside me. I guess he knew I was avoiding him and decided to take matters into his own hands. But after that night I couldn't help but think about the girl that Leo was actually in love with And how being with him made me feel like I forced him to betray the one he truly loves.

‎ I was about to stand up and leave And I heard his hoarse voice.
