Unconventional Love

Chapter 6

Everyone dropped their utensils and looked at her with hope in their eyes. After that, there was a silence that felt like it lasted an hour, but in reality, it could have been just five minutes. That long silence filled the room with tension so thick you could cut it with a knife. Then we heard her say, "I would love to stay if u guys will have me."

‎My mom burst into tears of joy, and you could see that my dad was really happy too because it meant she finally acknowledged them as her children. When the tears became too much, they stood up and excused themselves from the room, not wanting her to see their weakness.

‎It was quite noticeable that Leon and Emily had definitely gotten closer. It’s understandable since they were siblings and had missed each other over the years.

‎After all this, I found myself loving my parents more because even after everything they went through, they never abandoned us. I always kill myself and loved me Just like before. And I also taught that Emily would be like those usual short drama real heiress That I'm manipulative but she genuinely just wanted to form a bond with me and I wanted us to be close friends.

‎ One day when I came back home shopping with Mom I heard Leo and Emily speaking in the living room And I heard Emily say " I know you like her, I can see it's in your eyes." This means Emily already knew who Leo liked, even though they had just started bonding But I could understand Because They were siblings and already had that bond, but they just needed time to develop it.

‎ Then I heard Leo say " How did you find out? Even she Doesn't know." and Emily replied " I see your eyes sparkle every time you see her so it's quite obvious it's only because she's blind that she can't tell.". Leo spoke again this time his voice was hoarse " But what if she thinks my feelings for her are disgusting?"

‎ I felt heartbroken because the boy whom I have had feelings for the past 6 years loved someone else who didn't even value his love.

‎ I couldn't control my steps and before I knew it I was stumbling backwards and hit a table causing my back to hurt and the vase which was on the table fell and shattered into pieces alerting the people in the living room that someone was there.

‎ But I couldn't feel the pain that was caused by the accidents, because my heart's hot more than anything else Because the one person whom I had loved for eight years yearned for someone else.

‎ Leo and Emily came rushing over to check if I was hurt but I just brushed them off told them I was fine and went into my room and from that night I decided not to love him anymore.
