Eleanor didn't dare to argue. She pressed the security button under her desk. A loud click was heard from the direction of the double doors. The room was now tightly locked.
"Done," Eleanor whispered softly, lowering her gaze.
Roman lifted the woman's chin and immediately silenced her lips. The kiss was hard and dominating. Eleanor initially tensed up, but slowly her defenses crumbled. Her hands hesitantly went up to clutch Roman's suit. A stifled moan escaped from her lips as Roman's hand pulled her waist possessively.
When Roman released her, Eleanor was panting. Her eyes were glazed and her lipstick was a mess. The Ice Queen had completely submitted.
"Who is withholding your steel materials at the port?" Roman asked casually, as if the kiss just now was just a normal greeting.
Eleanor needed a few seconds to catch her breath. "R-Rocco," she answered. "The leader of the Black Hounds gang. He's holding the Whitmore Group's main warehouse at the North Port hostage."
"What are his demands?"
"He's asking for a five million dollar cash ransom. If not, he will burn everything," Eleanor said. She subconsciously gripped Roman's arm. "He has about fifty armed men there."
Roman removed Eleanor's hand from his arm.
"Let me prepare the company's security team to accompany you," Eleanor said quickly. Her tone of voice was full of worry. "Rocco is a cold-blooded killer. You can't go there alone, Roman!"
"No need," Roman interrupted. He adjusted his suit collar. "Just focus on your board of directors meeting this afternoon. Take care of your shareholders."
Roman walked toward the door and pressed the unlock button.
"Roman, you could die!" Eleanor called out.
Roman turned his head from the doorway. "Tonight, at eight o'clock, come to The Zenith penthouse. Bring the transfer documents for my fifteen percent shares."
"Roman, listen to me—"
"And Eleanor," Roman interrupted firmly, looking the woman up and down. "Wear a nice dress. Your duty as mine will only begin tonight."
Without waiting for an answer, Roman walked out of the room. As the elevator took him down, the system's holographic screen appeared before his eyes.
[New Mission: Underworld Conquest]
[Target: Make Rocco kneel and take over the North Port.]
[Time Limit: 3 Hours.]
[Reward: Ownership of 'The Zenith Penthouse' + Dark Charisma Upgrade.]
Roman smirked slightly.
Forty minutes later, a taxi stopped in front of the steel gates of the North Port. The air was filled with the smell of rust and engine grease. Roman stepped inside calmly. His expensive suit contrasted sharply with the slummy environment.
Not even ten steps in, a dozen or so burly thugs with black dog tattoos on their necks immediately intercepted him. They were holding iron pipes and machetes.
"Hey, Boss in a Tie! Stop right there!" snapped one of the scar-faced thugs. He pointed the tip of his machete at Roman's chest. "This is Black Hounds territory. Hand over your wallet and your watch, or I'll chop you to pieces right now!"
Roman didn't back down. He put both of his hands into his pants pockets and stared at the thug with a deadly gaze.
"Call Rocco," Roman said flatly. "Tell him, his angel of death has arrived."
The scar-faced thug laughed out loud. "Angel of death? You fantasize too much, bastard!"
He swung his machete straight at Roman's neck.
Thanks to the martial arts skill from the System, the movement looked incredibly slow. Roman only tilted his head slightly, then unleashed a hard punch to the thug's ribs.
Crack!
"Argh!" The thug screamed in pain. He immediately fell to his knees while vomiting blood.
"I don't like repeating my sentences," Roman said coldly. He stared at the other dozen or so thugs. "Call your boss."
"Damn it! Finish him!" shouted one of the thugs.
They stepped forward to attack simultaneously. Roman didn't back down. He stepped into the middle of the encirclement. Roman's throws, kicks, and punches hit the opponents' vital points with deadly accuracy. It only took two minutes until the dozen or so thugs were sprawled out groaning on the ground.
Roman's suit wasn't even wrinkled at all.
Clap. Clap. Clap.
The sound of clapping hands was heard from inside the main warehouse. A giant-bodied man with tattoos all over his neck walked out.
"Great. Very great for Eleanor's errand boy," Rocco chuckled. His eyes stared sharply at Roman. "But you're in the wrong place if you want to act like a tough guy."
"Are you Rocco?" Roman asked flatly.
"That's right. And you're going to die here." Rocco suddenly pulled a pistol from inside his leather jacket and pointed it at Roman.
However, before Rocco could pull the trigger, Roman kicked an iron pipe on the ground. The pipe shot out quickly and smashed into Rocco's wrist.
"Argh!" Rocco's pistol was thrown far away.
Roman dashed forward, grabbed the collar of Rocco's jacket, and slammed the giant man onto the asphalt with brutal force. Roman immediately stepped on Rocco's chest hard until the man gasped for air.
"Where are the warehouse keys?" Roman asked. His murderous aura radiated sharply.
"M-Mercy! Don't kill me!" Rocco's voice trembled violently. His sense of arrogance was completely destroyed. He realized this man above him was not an ordinary human. "The keys are in my right pocket!"
Roman reached into Rocco's pocket and took a bunch of keys. "Who paid you to withhold Whitmore Group's goods? Don't lie, or I'll break your neck."
"M-Mr. Cedric! Cedric from Orion Corp ordered me to! He gave me five hundred thousand dollars last week!" Rocco screamed in panic.
Roman smirked slightly. "Cedric again. That poor man apparently still wants to play around."
Roman kicked Rocco's jaw until the man passed out instantly.
[Mission Completed: North Port successfully conquered.]
[Rewards Distributed: 'The Zenith Penthouse' Certificate added to Host's inventory.]
Roman took his cellphone and called Eleanor. The call was picked up on the first ring.
"Hello? Roman?" Eleanor's voice sounded very anxious. "I'm preparing a team to go there right now—"
"Pull back your security team. Bring your transport trucks here. The warehouse is already secure," Roman interrupted.
The sound of a long sigh was heard at the other end of the phone. "What?! You've already taken care of Rocco? Alone? Roman, you're not hurt, are you?"
"Eight o'clock at the penthouse. Wear your dress. Don't keep me waiting, Eleanor."
Without caring about Eleanor's barrage of questions, Roman immediately hung up the call. He turned around to walk out of the port area.
However, before he had the chance to step out of the gates, his cellphone rang again. The screen displayed an unknown number.
Roman answered it. "Who is it?"
