I woke up and saw my hands were already wrapped by a gauze bandage. I looked outside and saw the sun's so bright.
"Your eyes are swollen. You want to wear this?", Josh is handing me a sunglasses.
He combed my hair and dragged them behind my ears.
"Rain's inside that house. She's telling the elders inside that their granddaughter's already here."
"Are we at the Dawson's residence?", I asked and he nodded.
