Lilly “I ’ll be staying right here in case you need me, Lilly.” Kayla shot me a very obvious wink as she leaned heavily on the wall, and I blushed hard. Sticking my tongue out at her, my ears twitched at the little giggle she let out before slipping into the hotel room. The entire hotel had been a blur of neutral colors and fake plants, and I blinked to see the room in high definition. Taking a deep breath, I strained my lungs even as my eyes went straight to the bed. The blanket looked soft, not uncomfortable like I’d always imagined, and I wandered over to the edge to caress the fabric.
