Alera’s POV I could still hear her words echoing in my head, soft yet powerful, like whispers woven from ancient wind. “The wolf in you has been quiet for too long. When she returns, she will not come gently. You must grow with her, or she will grow without you.” The Seer’s voice had a haunting grace to it, one that lingered in my thoughts even now as I sat quietly beside the window in Kael’s chamber, staring out at the night sky.
