Dawn is just about to break. I need to get back to the Palace while it’s still dark… given the whole half-naked thing.
I cross the vineyards under the dappling light of the moon. If I manage to sneak into the hotel and retrieve my uniform without being noticed, I won’t need to explain why I’m in such a state.
I’m being attacked by the wind and the cold. And the distant hooting of owls is freaking me out. I’m not very comfortable.
I pick up the pace. I’m not really afraid that something will happen to me, but the atmosphere isn’t particularly reassuring. This impromptu night stroll needs to come and end now.
