Last night really helped me clear my mind. Becky has a lot to do with that. I begin a new day at the Secret Palace, determined to move forward with my investigation. Or at least to not forget all about it… I just hope the guests don’t go too hard on me today.
The MacKenzie family has been asking me for twenty minutes now about the food served at the breakfast buffet. My answer doesn’t seem to be enough for them.
“Is the sauce made with organic quinces and peaches?” Mrs. MacKenzie asks.
“Of course, ma’am. All our fruits are organic.” Honestly, I have no idea what the hell he makes his sauce out of! But given how luxurious the Secret Palace is, I’d be surprised if it wasn’t organic. Oh… I hope she doesn’t ask me where the fruit comes from!
