Chapter 34: Unleashed Fury

I smashed the desk chair, sending stuffing flying across the room in my rage.
I also destroyed a filing cabinet, papers were scattering everywhere as I continued my rampage.
Each hit I swung felt like a small release of the rage that had been building inside me since I'd gotten Lake's terrified phone call.
They had tried to kill my family. My wife. My children. The people who meant everything to me in this world. They had tried to take them out of the equation, to break me.
I brought the poker down on a decorative vase, and it shattered into ceramic shards that scattered across the floor like confetti. The sound was satisfying, but it wasn't enough.
Nothing would be enough until I found the people responsible for this attempted murder on my family
