THAT night, I sent a message to Zac and asked if the invitation to his engagement party was still good. He has been messaging me regularly, but I haven’t replied to him since the day after he joined us for coffee. It didn’t feel right knowing how Lucas felt about me contacting my Zac. However, I now wanted to attend his engagement party and talk to Kit about what she’s up to. I could talk to her beforehand, but I wanted to satisfy my curiosity and find out how Zac’s family would react when they saw me. Zac replied that our invitation still stands and that he’ll send the paper invitation.
I then made arrangements to meet with Wendy to get fitted for a dress to wear. I will also be renting a suit for Lucas. I decided not to tell my husband that we would be attending my ex’s engagement party
