Skye's POV
It took me twelve days to move an appointment from the day I needed to leave and to another so my dad could handle it for me. I was honest with him and told him I was visiting Diana. He was surprised I was going to see her at all, but he had one stipulation in going at all... I had to bring Nathan with me. He and Mom have been fighting ever since our little family meeting, and he said she's not been holding her weight in caring for him like she used to. I agreed without hesitation.
I didn't mind bringing my sidekick along to see someone I knew he liked. I packed myself a week's worth of clothing for myself and maybe two for Nathan because.. well he's a baby and gets into everything.
