Chapter Eleven

Diana's POV I felt my bones cracking as more insults came flying through the door between myself and them, the wooden door that only barrier between us. The light breeze grew into a harsh wind. Blowing things on the countertops away and everything in the shower off its niche. My skin heated as I narrowed my eyes more at the door where they all were still yelling at me and banging on the door. My wolf, one who I've grown into calling 'lobo demonio', it translates to 'Demon Wolf' in English. And if I wasn't so scared of becoming her, I wouldn't have chosen a more meaningful name when I spoke about her to my friends. But really not even my best friend Jamie knew how despicable my wolf form was. Only Marco knew how bad she could get.vShe growled in my head, hearing how I was thinking about her and her fury soon began to bleed into me. The door suddenly burst open and due to my winds that my other half tapped into, the door pulled the person who was holding onto the door handle into the room and into the closest table, knocking it and everything that was on it onto the floor. Red hair. That was Hailey. "What the hell do you think you are doing young lady? Knock it off or I'll have you escorted to the dungeons immediately." The Queen snapped at me while pointing a perfectly manicured finger at me. I raised a brow at her and her facial features that previously showed disdain, faltered slightly and fear covered her expression. A single heartbeat later she masked it and fury filled her eyes. Her brown eyes lit up as her beast tried to come out. The caramel circle around her pupils that indicated who and what she was brightened more than they already were. One of the lightbulbs blew, raining shards of glass over me but I didn't feel any of it.My hair, blew wildly as I glared at the three women. I noticed that Louise wasn't with them. I wonder where she scurried off to? She might not have defended me but she sure as hell never stopped the bullying I record from her friends. Yes she was a jealous woman when it came to me and Skye but I think her letting it happen was her form of revenge for what he and I share. XMy eyes felt bright, telling me my wolf was so close to the surface that all she had to do was give a single nudge and she would be free. "Her eyes! That's not normal." Glenda whispered. "I'm not normal." I nodded slowly agreeing with her. "I may be a hybrid in this body, but my wolf isn't. She's pure. So pure she is stronger than most give her credit for. Would you like to see?" I smirked at them. Fur began growing up my arms, showing off a white gold tint that was my wolf fur. Her eyes were golden like all the wolves I grew up with, they were indigo. A curse according to my mother, but my dad said it made me rare and beautiful. Which I agreed with. Heat covered my hands, I lifted one up to see why that was and saw fire covering my palm. Looks like I now have four elemental gifts now. Light, air, earth and now fire. Give me water and I'll have them all if I wish. I may be a pacifist, but my wolf? She was a menace. Didn't care to be insulted, especially not me. I may keep things to myself but she won't. If she could speak I swear she would be cursing up a storm when it came to the bile these three women have said and did to me these past couple weeks. Hailey got herself up from the floor and glared at me. "You b***h, you ruined my dress." I snarled. "You ruined my f*****g hair!" She gasped. "How dare you curse in front of the queen!" "You haven't begun to hear how much disrespect I'll give her and you if you don't leave my room this instant." I wanted. I know what my wolf wanted. She wanted their blood running from her muzzle and I was willing to allow it. But I have a bit more self control than her when it comes to wanting to kill someone. I had to bite back a laugh as a flower pot hit Hailey in the face, spraying soil and clay shards everywhere. I suppose I ruined her makeup and hair now too. It was worth it. Her fury peaks and before I can process what happened she shifted into her massive grey Lycan form. She towered over me by two and a half extra feet in this form. She thought I was intimidated by her. I wasn't. I grew up with brothers who could transform into f*****g bears. They may have been smaller than a Lycan but they were massive in size. Even at a young age. And because my stepdad Milo was also part vampire, they inherited his speed. They may have been born hybrids like me but they were more bear than Faye. I held my chin up high, showing her I wasn't scared of her. She wasn't a powerful Lycan either, she was of dimmed gamma blood, but her family was still noble. I believe her father is a duke. Mine was full Alpha wolf and my mother was a full Faye princess. I owned her in the rank department. I wanted to stop the overflowing of my anger to stop the wind from blowing but I couldn't. I was so fed up with the bullies and the disrespect I received here. I needed them to know I wasn't a weak hybrid wolf. "Diana!" Skye's voice shouted and my gaze immediately searched for him. He appeared behind his mother with wide shocked eyes. He was wearing his suit and he looked amazing. "What's happening, love? Talk to me!" I shook my head to try and rid myself of the anger my wolf was making me feel, but it wasn't working. All I could feel was my wolf's need for blood. "Ask her!" I pointed at Hailey in her Lycan form. She was snarling and snapping her jaw at me. She went to s***h me with her claws but I ducked just in time to avoid the swipe. My body began vibrating with the urge to rip her throat out and laugh as she gurgled on her own blood as she died at my feet. "I don't have to, Louise told me what happened. What I want to know is what's going on with your power? Stop it! Please?" The look of despair in those brown orbs made something crack inside me. I opened my mouth to say something but a sudden flash of pain erupted in my right arm. Looking away from him briefly I saw Hailey! Her huge claws had ripped open my skin in four different spots, causing blood to trickle from the wounds in my upper arm and into the pristine white dress, staining it. Feeling the rush of shock and pain only made me more angry. I didn't even have to reach out to grab her, I used my powers to force her closer and when she was within arms reach, I grasped her forearm with one hand and let my new power flow out and watched it spread over her fur, igniting it within seconds. "Can't kill what you can't even touch." I growled just low enough for her to hear. Hailey whined and shifted back to her skin before the flames could completely cover her. Red blotchy blisters covered her naked form and I was suddenly aware that I did that. I didn't even realize I did it until I saw the aftermath of what my anger could do. f*****g demon wolf, I spat in my head. Fear and a cold sweat covered every inch of my being. I'm not in my own kingdom, I would be executed for harming one of their own. Lycans have no mercy for anything they believe is beneath them. And I was already aware of how they saw me. I was an ant compared to them. Seeking an exit, I bolted for the closest window and threw it open. "Diana, don't." Skye's voice halted my movement. But only briefly. I looked over my shoulder, his eyes full of worry. "I'm sorry, but I can't stay here knowing how it will end." And with that I jumped from the third floor window, and allowed my wings to spread out behind me halting my fall as I hit the ground.
