“Looks like the banshee already told you about the news” Anino said
I was impress that he knew that Emilia was the one that told me
“And how did you know a banshee was the one that told me?” I ask
“Well she was at the conference room when I brought the two new members” He said
“Come out I know you are hiding!” He shouted
Several second later Emilia reveals herself
“You’re no fun!” She said with her arms crossed
“Now Anino, about the two new members”
“Who is the other one? The lady with the dark violet hair” I ask
“Well I only know here by name”
“She’s Celestina La Consolación the Goddess of the Heavenly Bodies” Anino said which kinda threw me off a bit
He was about to repeat himself thinking I was spacing out but I stopped him
“It’s fine I heard it the first time” I said
“Are you alright? Is there something that matters?” He ask
“Nah I’m good”
“See you later I still have business to attend too” I said as I wave goodbye then went on my way
I head to the library and I saw Veronica arrange some of the books
“Good day Veronica” I greeted
“Have you finished your proposal and report? I ask
“Yes it is at the table feel free to check it out”
“I still need to finish rearranging these books” She said
I head to the librarian’s counter and check her proposal. It looks reasonable because some shelves are run down and look kinda brittle. After checking her proposal I checked her report and it seems the library isn’t getting many visits. In fact the people visiting are just the regular students that comes by daily
“Say Veronica are these numbers true?” I ask in a shouting manner
“Believe me or not the names listed there the are only students visiting the library”
“Why did you ask?” She ask
“We really need more people actively visiting this library”
“Personally I want to learn more its secrets just like the secrets of this three books you’ve gave me”
“If I am not mistaking you memorize its content, right?” I ask
“Yes I know the book from cover to cover” She said
I pull out the third book and show it to her
“Are you familiar with this book?”
“What are its contents?” I seriously ask
“Ahh the book of exile, the third book of great war” She said
“f**k! Hold up, you can read the title?” I ask
“Tell me president how did you know about the text written at the cover”
“Only those with blessed eyes can see it” She said
“Just like the first book” I reacted
“Impressive, I never thought someone from the forsaken realm possesses such mystical eyes”
“Tell me Ramon what race you are?” She curiously ask as she descends down
“I know I am just an ordinary human at first but when my limiter was broken my eyesight is never been the same again”
“I started seeing things beyond the normal eyes can see”
“Once you open your eyes to reality you can never close them shut” I said

“Where did you hear it?” She seriously said as she clenches my collar
“From my village elder” I said
“The prophecy is inevitable” She said which I didn’t heard clearly
“Follow me!” She ordered
We walk inside the librarian's counter and stand at the center. After several seconds the floor moved which revealed a hidden staircase going down. She walks down with a serious look on her face, I feel bothered but I followed her
“You haven’t answered my question, correct?”
“What race are you?” She seriously ask
“They said that with eyes like mine it is safe to say I am an Occulus” I said in a slightly frightened manner
“I am warning you don’t get involved with the demon lord and his son” She said
“Why?” I ask
“Brace yourself what you will witness inside is the three books combined”
“This chamber holds all the answers in what you are seeking”
“Open your eyes president’ She said
She waited for my eyes to activate then she slowly opened the chamber doors. Upon stepping in torches were lit one by one revealing murals that looks exactly like the images in the picture book
“Let’s go” She said as she takes the lead
While walking down the aisle I started hearing things which scared the life out of me. Veronica gave me a chop in the head because I wasn’t hearing things and I needed to pay attention to everything because I might miss something important. Several seconds later the painting then started popping out of the wall and began moving.
“Shsss! It is starting” She said silencing me
The painting started to reenact what happened before the great war
“Everything was at peace before. All races are as one and help each other out depending on the circumstances”
“Everyone is active and they assist one another. Everyone has their expertise and they and weak points but the other races fill those holes”
“Then one day Lisandro the leader of the Occulus Tribe possesses such immense power that shakes the gods”
“With the newly unlock power that Lisandro possessed he manage to see into the future”
“Many tragedies were avoided because of Lisandro future sight”
“The many lives were saved and the Occulus Tribe were known about this”
“Travellers across the globe seek Lisandro to see what future lies ahead of them but sad to say other abuse his power”
The setting then change and new characters were brought to life
“Drug trafficking, hoarding, injustice these are some of the mishaps that Lisandro allowed to happened because he was blinded from the fact that telling others what future lies ahead of them is a good thing”
“But everything change when most of the travellers abuse Lisandro power and use it to formulate a plan that benefits them the most”
“Crime rate went up and the gods are not pleased of what is happening”
“The heads of all the races gather up and discuss the issue at hand. The majority voted that Lisandro’s powers is to be sealed off but Lisandro refuses and declares war if anyone threatens to remove his powers”
We continued walking and the painting magically stuck to the wall again.
That’s the book one
After passing an arc, paintings started moving again. I pull out the second book and look at it’s title but I can’t understand what kind of writing is used
“Veronica what’s the title of the second book?” I whispered ask
“The book of the forsaken” She said
“Months after Lisandro threatened the gods of declaring war the nation was never the same again. The Occulus Tribe, the biggest contributor of crops and vegetables, stops dropping off the market causing food shortage. Travellers were also banned from visiting the Occuluses territory. This continued for years and the gods doesn’t want to get involved with the dispute”
“Every clan leader are getting pissed because they can’t stand this kind of scenario”
“Everything were in total disorder the peaceful and helping nation they once had turn into ruins”
“Elder, rasyon are getting thin and the crops are not growing enough to be harvested yet. What should we do?” an Occulus asked Lisandro
“Don’t worry, those crops will be good enough to harvest before the rations runs out” Lisandro said
“Tell everyone to be on full alert an unwanted visitor will be here to night”
“The intruder is wearing a long sleeved top with a hat made of hay”
“Don’t threaten him just tell him that we are late for the daily meeting and bring him to me”
“Now go inform the other patrols about our little chat” Lisandro ordered
“The inevitable end will approach us soon”
“My body may withered into dust but my hopes and dreams for my clan will soon prosper”
“The goodness and prosperity of this nation will bloom once more and a new era will rise”
“Only time will tell” Lisandro said as he looks outside with a hopeful face
Lisandro then places his hands on top of his eyes then gouges it.
“Sage Art: Mana Dispersion” Lisandro casted then he crushed his eyes with his own two hands
“A small sacrifice for the future generation” He claimed
He then pulls out a handkerchief and use it to cover his eyes
Night then come and Lisandro prediction was on point the guards easily pinpointed the intruder
“You” the patrollers said as they approach the intruder
“Don’t you know what time it is?”
“It is time for the daily meeting”
“Didn’t Elder said to don’t over work ourselves” the patrollers said
“Come well head to the meeting place together” a patroller said as he put his arms around the intruder’s shoulders
“Chief I’ll just roam around more maybe others are still not at the venue” another patroller said
The patrollers then spread out to search more other villagers roaming around while the chief and the intruder proceed to Lisandro office just like the plan
