I am sad to see Anino’s clan like that. This institution has serious problems and I am afraid if I am fit for the job or not. I really need help
“Say Anino, you said the board is chosen according to power right?”
“And I assume Procyon is the most powerful next to the headmistress”
“He is the president after all” I said
“Correct” Anino said
“Can you tell me who ranks next and so on?” I ask
“Next is Herlina”
“Followed yours truly”
“Followed by Selena”
“And Vandalir” Anino said
“I see”
“So the lady that contained Alex is third in rank”
“Looks like a rogue is a serious matter” I muffled
“About what you said in the conference room”
“Herlina is keeping a close eye on you. For her you are a huge threat because you witness what she is capable off and that is bad new to the top ranking individuals”
“Someone might come after them and dethrone her from the ranking. Everyone do have weaknesses” Anino said
“Okay thanks for the info Anino”
“Toodles, I still need to get some shut eye because we do have classes tomorrow and it is my first day being student council president”
“I don’t want to mess up it would ruin my image” I said
“Well then let me help you” He said as he places his hand in my shoulder
Eerie voices started popping out the pitch black darkness swallowed us whole the moment. It then slowly fades away and we were transported inside my room I can tell because I saw my alarm clock and clothes that were lying on the floor

I immediately then slept after
Morning and I wake up right on time. I did my daily routine then head out and just like the last time Thalia exited her room but this time Vermillion exited as well
“Excuse me” I said as I walk pass by them
“Ramon, wait!” Vermillion shouted
I just gave him a wave and just continued walking. I immediately closed the elevator but it seems they were just right behind me.
“Are you avoiding us?” Vermillion said but I remained silent
We head to school riding our different services but still they won’t stop following me even the twins are getting pissed seeing Vermillion acting like a total lunatic. We arrive at the student council room and it looks like Margaret and Alice aren't here yet.
“Where are those two. Shouldn’t they be here by now?” I ranted
“Chill Ramon it’s to early we still have two hours before classes starts”
“They come here eventually” Cherry Lyn said
“We should check the room” Darryl Lyn said as she opens the door but it was lock
“Say Ramon do you have the keys?” she ask
I smiled a bit then said “No” and I quickly apologized
“Wait here”
“I’ll just go get it” I said
“Don’t leave us here dummy we are going together”
“Katarina might not be around yet or someone from the student council” the twins said
We roam around the campus and Vermillion is still following us. The twins are getting pissed so they approach him
“Could you please let us be”
“You’re tailing us the moment you arrive at school and it is kinda bugging us out you creep” the twins said
“Who says I was tailing you two?”
“I just want to talk to Ramon” Vermillion said
“Twins you go ahead” I seriously said
The twins immediately step back then went on their way without saying a word but their glances are locked on Vermillion
“What is it you want to talk about?” I ask
“Let’s not talk here, someone is watching” Vermillion whispers at my ear
He then turned his back and made a hand signal telling me to follow him. We went to the demon’s territory and as soon as we enter Vermillion ordered everyone to get out and kick out anyone that looks suspicious roaming around
“We need to talk about what happened last night” Vermillion said
“Which part?”
“Is it the one that Thalia and Skylia are one?”
“Or maybe about you wanting to dethrone me and take the title for yourself”
“I thought you were my friend” I said
“I am your friend!” He sincerely said
“Huh really says the one that gift me a rigged car” I said with pure suspicion
“What do you mean by rigged? I just bought that car and have it delivered” He said
“Look like someone is assassinating me and I am sure who she is” I said
“Skylia!” We both said exactly the same time
“That b***h!” Vermillion reacted
“So what is the plan, Vermillion?” I ask
“We can’t just dispose of her because she’s the daughter of the Sky Gods”
“If we did we are declaring war and we don’t want that, right” Vermillion said
I giggled
“Well, I thought the clan of the demons manage to dethrone gods from the rankings?”
“Why turn tail now?” I manipulatively said
Vermillion laughs
“Ramon you dummy” He said then lightly punches me in the shoulder
“You know the ranking is just based on academics and co-curricular activities of the university right?” He said
“Oh, you don’t say” I said realizing my mistake
“So how are we going to resolve this issue?” I ask
“What issue?” someone said
Vermillion’s cheerful mood drastically dropped. I turn around and I saw Procyon walking toward us
“What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be at the conference room doing your job?” Vermillion ask
“Work starts when the bell rings”
“And I still have roughly two hours” Procyon said as he looks at his watch
“So what is this issue you were two boys talking about” He ask
Vermillion was about to tell an alibi but I stopped him. I sensed overwhelming power coursing through Procyon’s eyes.
“We were talking about how to get rid of Skylia” I said while looking straight into his eyes
“And what is the reason in making such decision” He ask
“She’s plotting to get rid of me”
“In fact she planted a bomb in Vermillion’s gift. Luckily I don’t know how to drive” I said
Procyon snaps his fingers and the demons rally up behind him
“What did Vermillion give you?”
“If there is really a bomb the board should take precautions. Many innocent lives are at stake” He said
“I gave him the latest model of the TechnoBurst series”
“It is parked at the grounds the blue one” Vermillion said
“You heard him”
“Move and make a barrier strong enough to contain the explosion” Procyon ordered
Group by group the demons flew away
“You two come with me we need to talk” Procyon said with authority
“Where are you taking us?” I ask
“To the place I should have bring you a long time ago” He said
After severals minutes of walking we arrive at the library
“Good morning Veronica” Procyon said as he barges in
“Good morning Demon Lord”
“What brings you here?” She ask
“Is she a fallen angel?” I whispered ask Vermillion
“Yes, a direct descendant of Azazel”
“Some says she memorized every book in this library” Vermillion said
“Wow!” I reacted
“Look who decided to show up”
“Ramon Paloma the newly elected president”
“I hope I’ll have a budget raise” Veronica said
“Veronica I want the map to the Ascended Ruins” Procyon said with authority
“Sorry Demon Lord but the Shapeshifter got to it first”
“She borrowed it yesterday” She said
Procyon tilts his head sidewards with a lock jaw. He looks kinda pissed
“Sorry guys looks like our little chat ends here” Procyon said then he left
“We should head out as well Ramon”
“Maybe check what my bros are doing with the car” Vermillion said
“You go ahead I still need to talk to the librarian” I said
Vermillion nod then went on his way
“So Ms/Mrs. Veronica”
“Sorry but I don’t know how to address you properly”
“About your request for additional funding, give me a written report and the list of materials you need. Let’s see if you deserve the increase okay” I said
“If you don’t mind me asking”
“What do you know about the war that happened a century ago? The one between the Occuluses versus the gods”
“Are there any materials that I could read to learn more about it?” I ask
“The war between Lisandro and the gods is not just an urban meet is really did happen”
“I don’t know about it because the resources are very minimal but if you like to know more about it here the top three book that might catch your interest” She said then three old looking books flew towards her
She moves her hand sideways above it then chanted something
“Here you go. There are all checked out, feel free to return them as soon as you are done reading it
“Everything that I know are inside those books” She said
“Okay Veronica”
“Just send me the report and the list of items and well get right to it”
“It is our first day so we're just getting a hang of it”
“So please bear with us, okay” I said as I gave her a thumbs up then left
