“How about you sit right beside that guy” the professor said as he points his finger at me
“He can even tour you around the campus if you like” He suggested
“Miss, can you please transfer seats and let, miss?” the professor said as he snaps his finger
“Thalia” Thalia said
“And let Ms. Thalia take the seat right beside Mr. Paloma” the professor instructed
My seatmate packs her things then moves to a vacant seat at the back. As soon as she left Thalia immediately takes her seat
“I know most of you aren’t aware of what happened so I’ll tell you”
“Ms. De Villa is on a leave right now because she is not feeling well so I will be your substitute professor until she returns”
“My name is Claus Balatkayo and I’ll be your homeroom professor and also your subject professor”
“Am I understood?” He said
Everyone responded then he takes his leave for his next class
“So we’re seatmates, great right?” Thalia said
I just smile then bow my head. I don’t feel like talking to anyone today. I just want to be alone
Lunchtime and Thalia spoke to me again
“Aren’t you going to the cafeteria to have lunch?” She ask but I didn’t respond
“Just leave this to us” The twins said as they approach our table
“Okay” Thalia seems down as she walks out the classroom
“Hey get up!”
“We still need to secure a table” Daryl Lyn said as she slaps my shoulder
I pick up my bag and hand over there lunch
“Aren’t you coming?” Cherry Lyn concernly ask
“I think I’ll pass” I said
“Why are you sick?”
“Want us to escort you to the nurse’s office?” She said
“No, I just feel not to do anything today”
“I feel rather unmotivated” I said
“Yesterday you were all energetic and motivational and now look at you. You look like a pile of rubbish”
“What will others think if they see you like that. I will definitely ruin your image as the next president” Daryl Lyn said
“I’ll be fine just go have lunch without me okay” I stubbornly said
“Aren’t you going to eat? Want something from the cafeteria?” They ask
“Nah I’m good I’ll just eat here. I did pack a separate lunch for me” I said
“Okay but make sure once we get back you’re not that gloomy person we left you okay”
“Bye!” Daryl Lyn said
“K! Bye” I said as I wave my hand at them
“Finally some peace and alone time” I said to myself
Several minutes later I was about to doze off then Vermillion came inside the room excitedly shouting. I raise my head to take a look and a hoard of demons are running towards me
“Ramon! The results have just been posted and you won!” Vermillion gloriously said
“Is that it?”
“You came all the way here to tell me that?” I rudely said
“What’s with the bitter attitude my friend?”
“You won, you should be happy. How about we ditch the next class so we can celebrate?” Vermillion eagerly said
“I’ll pass thanks, I don’t feel like partying or do anything today”
“I just want some peace and quiet. So please leave me alone” I seriously said
“Sure I respect your decision”
“Oh yeah, contact your committee and prepare a speech for the transfer ceremony after school” Vermillion said
“Committee? Transfer ceremony?” I weirdly ask
“I knew it “
“Well your committee are the ones that are going to take the other position and the speech is just a regular speech” Vermillion said
“You know I run independently, right? Where on earth am I going to find someone willing to joining the student council in such short notice” I said
“I don’t know if this is possible but I try asking the board or the headmaster if they will allow you single handedly manage the council”
“But never in the history of Mythingale University did that happen. The council are always run by a single clan” Vermillion said
“I just need four more, right?” I ask
He just nod
“Well, I do have someone in mind but I haven’t ask them yet”
“Maybe I’ll just approach them later” I said
“Okay see you later at the auditorium Ramon” Vermillion said then he takes his leave together with his men
I grab my phone and call Elena
“Hi Elena it's me”
“I would like to request an audience with the headmistress if possible” I ask
“Just talk to her during the transfer ceremony later,, she’ll be there”
“And prepare a speech will you” Elena seems grumpy
“What’s with the attitude?” I reacted
“Ahhh!!! I still have lots of paperworks to finish so don’t bug me!”
“By the way congrats in winning the election”
“Bye!” She said then immediately drops the call afterwards
I take a good long stroll around the campus to finalize the committee that I am going to form. I do have several people in mind and their respective positions but I don’t think that they will quickly grab the offer. Who in the world would join me in reforming this institution definitely I wouldn’t. People here do not even bother with this kind of system. Where the weak are being oppressed and the top dogs slaughters the competition. They really need my help. No one should feel inferior no matter what race are they
While I was roaming around I saw Katarina together with another person
As soon as Katarina notices me she waves her hand then says “Hi” as she approaches me. She grabs my hand then pulls me towards the buddy of hers
“Congrats” She immediately said
“Thanks” I said with a smile on my face
“Won’t you introduce me to her?” I said to Katarina as I elbowed her
“Oh, sorry”
“Clara this is Ramon”
“Ramon this is Clara” Katarina said
“Clara, has a nice ring to it”
“If you don’t mind me asking what’s your family name?” I ask
“Utopia” She answered my eyes widens upon hearing those words
“Sorry” I said out of the blue
“Sorry for what?” She weirdly ask
“Oh, is it you winning the election against my sister?”
“No worries, all good” She said
“Between you and me. I voted for you” She whispers in my ear
“Thanks. I promise I won’t let you down”
“You can count on me” I confidently said
“I know you can” She said then pats my shoulder
“See you later guys” She said then enters the room
“So that’s Teodosia’s sister” I said to myself
“And she’s also the former president of the student council before she passes the authority to me” Katarina said
“I see”
“Well thanks for the chat Kat, I am still looking for possible candidates for the committee I am forming”
“I really need worthy individuals to accompany in my quest of reforming this institution” I said
“Okay Ramon, see you”
“Goodluck in finding those member of yours”
“Ciao” Katarina said then left
“See yah!” I said as I wave her goodbye
I continued to roam around but I didn’t find any of them so I decided to head back to the room. Maybe I’ll just call them to come over. No, no, that would be too risky. I’ll put them on the spot if I did that so I continued my search. In the hallway Vermillion and was there along with several demons
“Vermillion I’ve been looking for you” I shouted
He seems weirded out
“Why are you shouting in the hallway Ramon” Vermillion teased
“I need to talk to you for a sec. In private please” I requested
With Vermillion’s command the demons went in their way
“So, what is this important thing that you are going to tell me” Vermillion curiously ask
“You know I am in need of potential committee members, right? And I was hoping you could be one of them”
“How about you become my vice president” I requested
“You know I can’t, right? I can’t be a part of the committee of the opposing party”
“Sorry Ramon but thanks for the offer, highly appreciate it” Vermillion said as he pats my shoulder then he went on his way
I made a deep sigh because the odds are against me. So I can’t ask Vermillion because he ran against me and that takes Teodosia out of the list too. I was hoping to make her my secretary. With a dismayed face I head back to the classroom. I was only a few steps away then I heard a commotion inside. I quickly ran inside with my eyes activated
“What is this ruckus all about!” I shouted
“Great you’re here”
“I am sick and tired of listening to these rascals”
“Can I speak with you?” Alice ask
“Okay speak up” I said
“In private please” She seriously said
“Sorry but I don’t have the time”
“I still need to assist the injured to the nurse’s office” I seriously said
