Noel’s Pov
Jane was gone, and the pack house was destroyed. I couldn’t save her. I let everyone down. This was all my fault. I took one final glance at the house and my heart felt heavy. I was pulled out of my thoughts when I sensed footsteps approaching. It was getting closer and I knew I wasn’t safe. They began chasing me. I had been running for what felt like an eternity.
“Get him, don’t let him escape.” A voice boomed.
Who was that and what did he want? Could he be the leader of Eraus?
Maybe I should stop running. Why was I even running? Jane is gone. I've lost everything.
My legs began to fail me. I stopped.
