Despite Vann teleporting me to the nearest blind spot to Riba's mansion, it took me two days on foot to reach the mansion my mate was held captive in. It was not an easy feat to achieve as Veronica had eyes everywhere through her golem monsters running around everywhere in the Forest of Wonders. I did notice their presence the first time we entered the forest but ignored them to be some kind of creatures living in the forest like the tales suggested. It was Cahan's spirit friends who informed us about the purpose of their presence in the forest. Veronica wanted to control everything and everyone that could even linger close to Loswittry, the runes, the golems, and the clone crows were all a part of her security.
